Sounds to me like other schools are tired of losing to Boone. Even when they have the better talent they loose. Could it be she is just that much better a coach than the others? Quit crying and figure out a way to beat Boone at tournament time.

 

Nell is just that much better of a coach than others. Tournament time is what she lives for and her teams are prepared and she wins.

Secondly, I have not read where anyone said that Conner lost because of the officiating. Some have said it was questionable, but not the reason/excuse for the loss. By the way, were you at the game and what was your opinion?

Wasn't at the game and don't care who won. Simply saying the majority of posters were talking about officiating and not the ball game. By the way, excuse me if I used the wrong term, as I'm sure you are much more aware of terminology than me.

First off you weren't even at the game nor did you see the play in question, yet you on your almighty pedestal sits there and basically calls all the fans, players and coaches at that game idiots on a subject you have absolutely no clue about pretty much sums up all we need to know about your arrogant persona.

No one can dispute Nell's ability or success; she wasn't the "typical" factor on the sidelines in this game though. She had the intestinal flu and was very sick. She was the least animated and vocal that I've ever seen her! Boone won on hustle and determination, period! Connor could have and should have put the game away with 4 minutes to go but Boone stepped up their intensity and put Connor on their heels. That was the deciding factor, not the ref's.

I agree with your post minus the last statement, no one is blaming the refs. Conner had their chances and had some critical turnovers within the last few minutes and as stated previously missed opportunites on the front end of one and ones.

I agree no one said the refs won or lost the game for either team. I also think we all know what mistakes Conner made down the stretch. I suggest we all let the healing process begin for these kids because I know they feel terrible. It is bad enough they lost and their season is over but I think it is time to simply say Boone was better and Conner lost. It is a team game and no matter what happened in the last four minutes there were several things that put them in that position that happens during the rest of the game. This was a great game and it is a shame someone had to lose.

What the hell is your problem? I Simply said that Clyde did a good job of explaining how this call could have been made. I didn't say it was or wasn't the correct call. I never called ANYONE an IDIOT. I said I was reading to find about the game and all I saw was post after post about ONE call, without much at all about the game.

Just as coach14 stated, it wasn't the explanation of the call, we all understand the explanation, I was referring to your attitude for someone who wasn't even there or seeen the play to come right out and call all us fans stupid which is basically what you did.
