Final.

You simply cannot count on Newport.

Bracken's most recent W was a 3-pt win over Villa.

The 36th is ugly.

Three weeks ago I didn't care that the 36th wasn't seeded. Now I think it is kind of a shame.

Not that HHS would make any noise in the region, but they sure would have a shot against Newport in a 2/3 game.

Is Newport missing any players? I have seen both Bracken and Newport play this year. Newport looked at least 20 points better.

This is a real nice win for the Polar Bears headed into the districts.

Very nice win for Coach Persinger & the Bears! :thumb:

Didn't Newport beat Augusta handily earlier in the season?

Yes, they did. By double-digits at Newport.

Newport seems to be very schizophrenic this season.

Per Twitter, Philip Jefferson leads with 20, Eli Florer with 18, Austin Crawford with 11 & Grant Crawford with 10.

I was at Newport and Augusta to watch the number 3 scorer in the state. And the game was closer than the score indicated Augusta ran out of gas. It was a 4 point game with 4 or 5 mins to go in the 4th

Congrats to Bracken on the win! :thumb:

Nice win for the Polar Bears. :thumb:

Newport is not schizophrenic they are just undisciplined more times than not, they play like a group out at the "school yard". No assemblance of an offense and they lack proper decision making. They do have some nice athletes, but they need to play smarter as a unit. JMO.

This season?

Isnt Jaquan Short sitting out a 2 game suspension? I heard he got Into it with a Beechwood player and was going to Miss games.

Congrats to the Polar Bears.

Bracken Co is Stinkyboy's favorite venue. LOL

He was there, started and had 11 points. Was very impressed with the Pearson kid who was unstoppable inside and had 28, have never heard much about him. Florer for Bracken was just as impressive inside and has been playing his best ball of late.
