Austin Hill will play football from what I understand as of now. But that could change. Duran Jefferson and Henderson if he gets a deeper shot will both be playing at either mid major DI or good D2 programs.

A. Wouldn't surprise me at all, but I think he could be a nice 2-guard in College. Great physique for a kid his age.

 

B. I could see Duran sneaking into D-1, and I 100% agree that Arrez is a 20 foot jumper away from the same. :thumb:

I know one thing if Holmes needs a basket they usually give the ball to Greg Rice about 12 feet out, I don't know to many teams that do that with their 4th best player.

So give me your ranking of the Holmes starters, I am guessing you would put Rice ahead of Henderson at this point?

Its hard for me to rank they each have their role.

 

Hill is more of the Scottie Pippen role some what. He is the overall player you are right. Henderson is the best athlete. During this season when Jefferson and Rice have been in foul trouble, he is the guy who dribbled it up and did all the scoring. Austin Hill is more of a role scorer, but gets alot of points that way. He isn't the greatest at creating his own shot, but has the strenght to do so sometimes. Rice and Henderson are the two most dangerous offensive weapons on this team in my mind.

 

I think right now Henderson is their best player. Holmes would be scary good if Henderson could shoot the 3 consistently.

Best hops I can recall sitting at my desk right now. If he develops even a solid mid-range game (the 3-ball will come, I would think), he is unstoppable. Cshs81 and I had this conversation, was CCH not boxing him out or unable to box him out. He thinks the former, I am inclined to go with the latter. He is incredibly long.

Okay, but if you are going to playfully take back-handed shots at me for referring to Rice as their 4th best player, then tell me where you put him? He isn't as complete as Hill. Trust me CCH isn't the only school that has trouble boxing him out. Trinity, Shelby,Scott County, and Henderson all do to. He is strong, fast, and leaps. He gets off the ground so quick, its hard to box him out.

Rice isn't a pro-typical post man, and I think because of the outlook of htis team he has been forced into the center positon. (If he had stayed at HC, he would of got the oppurtunity to player more permeiter ).

This years Holmes team would beat any of the contenders in the 9th , 9 times out of 10. But all it takes is that one night. Scary thing is every top contender teams loses pieces next year. Holmes returns every starter.

Holmes can be. But no to the latter. When TJ is hot, they are hard to beat. But I think both CCH and HHS have to play good games to beat a Dixie, HC, or Beechwood. They can't just show up on those schools and expect to win, like some dominate teams CCH and HHS have had in the past.

Can't internship, I won't make any ALL A games this week or any HS games for that matter. I intern,work, and have a full class load. But if HC makes state tourney I will find a way to be there.
