February 22, 201313 yr It always amazes how people turn a blind eye to things that appear racist and uncalled for. This is like the county school student section that dresses up like thugs when they play the city school. The intent to send a message is there and it is real easy to see the message being sent. And for the record, unless it is the 4th of July or immediately after the Star Spangled Banner what is the point of chanting USA at a high school basketball game? I'm supposed to believe students are automatically filled with patriotism during a high school basketball game? When if it's on a Friday night you probably have about 30% of them either drinking or smoking pot. Get the hell out of here.....
February 22, 201313 yr I think it's crap and I think kids are getting away with a LOT of stuff in the stands that they shouldn't be saying or doing. Maybe thats old school, but thats what I think. Not enough civility in this day and age. I am amazed when I watch a high school game at how ofter one or both student sections will have no faculty supervising them and garbage like you mentioned goes on.
