What are you talking about? St. x didn't even play in Fort Thomas in 2012.

 

Are you talking about the way Highands squeaked by 12-7 in 2009? That was not their worst defeat, by any stretch of imagination. Colerain blasted St. X, winning by 28 in 2012. They also defeated X 24-7 in 2006. Highlands win doesn't even come close to any big loss Cincy X has suffered.

 

Thanks BlueBomber94. I have been telling Highlands fans that for a year plus. The Bluebirds SIGNATURE win was against a very poor finishing St. X team. Now let the Highlands faithful roll in with their chorus of the greatest ever.....haha.

History, remind me... who was the GCL-S champ in 2009? By the sound of your post, it must not have been Saint X, given how poorly they finished. Oh... wait a minute... it was St. X. The GCL-S is considered to be either the toughest league or one of the toughest football leagues in America every year, and it's not too often that a team from KY (or any other state not named Ohio) beats the GCL-S champ.

Actually St. X went 9-3 and were GCL-S Champs losing to Elder 17-14 in the regional semifinals of the playoffs.

St X was 4-0 with wins over Colerain and Indy Cathedral and easy wins over Trinity and St X when Highlands beat them. Maybe the shock was too much for them as Elder and St Iggy beat them later in the season.

jb-St. X won 1 playoff game that year. They were out after round 2. A long way from being Ohio state champs that season. It was a neat win for the Bluebirds. Not against a super powerful Bomber team.

Nope, they won't play the Rocks either in a regular season contest. The Bluebirds have an excuse. The Bombers, not so much.

 

I suppose Trinity is THANKFUL for the scrimmage with the 'birds. :meh:

 

I hope Trinity charges regular season prices for the scrimmage like the good folks at Fort Thomas did last year!:idunno:

Max Preps would argue that since St. X was ranked # 16 in the country that year.(2009) Thet got knocked out of the playoffs by Elder, a team that they beat earlier that seasn. As far as another Highlands thread ,HHS is on the rocks schedule in 2013. :sssh:

Trinity charged regular season prices at their home scrimmage the year before!! Looks like we have a HHS hater here. Do some research before posting.
