February 4, 201313 yr Anyone else surprised that #29 for Baltimore wasn't ejected for pushing an official during the fight? Add that in with the other non calls. I saw a Baltimore player blatantly slap a 49er up side his helmet right in front of an official and no call. They let a lot of hand to hand happen on passing plays that could have easily been called. The officials seemed to be doing everything they could not to throw a flag the whole game.
February 4, 201313 yr and the holding on the safety may have been the worst no call I've ever seen Worst no call ever? Did you watch the Packers-Seahawks game earlier this year?
February 4, 201313 yr Add that in with the other non calls. I saw a Baltimore player blatantly slap a 49er up side his helmet right in front of an official and no call. . Happened on the first or second play of the game.
February 4, 201313 yr Was a good no call. Crabtree was pushing off as well. The ball was uncatchable. Whether or not it is catchable doesn't matter does it? It was at least holding on the pass to Crabtree at the end. Crabtree was pushing trying to get free.
February 4, 201313 yr It would have been a holding call in the end zone. Still a safety. Just not as much time ran off the clock. The same amount of time would have ran off.
February 4, 201313 yr I honestly didn't give a flip who won, can't stand either one. This was a pretty decent game though. I guess that I was like a lot of people thinking that it was going to be a Raven blowout. The power dip/outage definitely helped S.F. I believe, it gave them another halftime so to speak to regroup even more. I do believe that 4th and goal at the end should have been a call on the Ravens. At first I didn't but replay showed that the defender had a hold on the jersey of the receiver when the ball was in the air. That was a tough one for Niners fans,I know if I were a Niners fan that I would really be going nuts over it. On anther note I do believe that Joe Flacco deserved the games mvp, he had one heck of a game. Flacco gets all kinds of critics, he is not the most "perfect looking form" type QB( for lack of a better term right now ) but he goes out and wins. Anyway, congrats to any Raven fans that are on bgp, your team went out and got it done. I do feel for wireman and any other Niner fan though, that 4th and goal was a tough one to take.
February 4, 201313 yr Whether or not it is catchable doesn't matter does it? It was at least holding on the pass to Crabtree at the end. Crabtree was pushing trying to get free. You are correct. Catchable/uncatchable is irrelevant.
February 4, 201313 yr How often have we had a Super Bowl where both starting QBs were from non-BCS schools? Heck, one was from 1-AA.
February 4, 201313 yr Worst no call ever? Did you watch the Packers-Seahawks game earlier this year? This Packer fan agrees with that
February 4, 201313 yr I just watched the safety again. There is little doubt that the coaches told them to hold on that play. There was holding by everyone and two guys just out and out tackled the guys they were blocking. And there was no holding call made. Doesn't make any difference in the game. Just interesting that no flags were thrown when virtually every Raven was holding someone.
February 4, 201313 yr I love taking the safety at the end... Me too! won me the square for final score!
February 4, 201313 yr Was a good no call. Crabtree was pushing off as well. The ball was uncatchable. He was only trying to free himself from the clutches of the Raven defender. It was a catchable ball for sure if he doesnt get held. It probably would have required some tightrope footwork to stay in but a penalty is a penalty to me. Gutless refs imo.
February 4, 201313 yr I'd like to see a replay of the INT Kapernick threw. I want to see if Moss could have possibly touched the ball with any effort. He gave none. Maybe it was simply untouchable. I watched it and the QB's shoulder dipped at the last second and the ball sailed bigtime. No way he gets a catch there and Moss aint stupid. If he stretches for that he gets broken in half.
