February 4, 201313 yr How is that? People hate on him every chance they get because he doesn't fit THEIR view of what a football player should be.

February 4, 201313 yr People hate on him every chance they get because he doesn't fit THEIR view of what a football player should be. I love Moss but people simply do not like guys that quit, especially with the amount of talent has. Never could a guy in sport's history be so good - as in, the best - on one play, and on the next do absolutely nothing in being a non-factor. I got to see Moss in person when he was with Oakland. It was the only time in my life I felt like a player was cheating me out of money. Fans do not like that. Moss is everything that is good and bad about a Superstar talent. Yesterday I did not think he did anything wrong. He is not going to look for contact, but we all knew that.
February 4, 201313 yr It's a damn shame how people WANT to view Moss. Damn shame. How do you feel about Ray Lewis??? Moss is a joke, good reciever but never consistently played to his ability, smoke another Randy!!!! This is a guy who walked off the feild and left his team once, and got kicked off another team. Even if it is HATERS, sometimes you bring the haters on yourself.

Randy Moss is the most misunderstood athlete in the history of sports.
February 4, 201313 yr Mannnn, that ball was way too high. If Moss could have caught it it would have been Breaking News on twitter and Phil Summs would have had a heart attack attacking Randy Moss for his lack of effort for 14 years and how he continually lets every team he has played on down. Seriously, do you really think if he could have caught the ball ANYONE in the media would have given him a pass? #hatersgonnahate The one replay angle they showed made it look like he could have potentially gotten part of his hand on the ball. His reaction said otherwise. If he gets even a finger on it it's probably not intercepted. That's why I said I want to see a replay because it looked odd. No hate involved.

I'm not going to judge him, blame him or hate on him for what was obviously an extremely toxic and volatile situation for all involved in Oakland.

It's not even worth discussing and when it is discussed hate spills.

No, you just gave him an excuse for giving no effort in less than ideal situations I love Moss, but I can't defend a lot of his antics on the field. Off I could care less.

I'm not going to judge him, blame him or hate on him for what was obviously an extremely toxic and volatile situation for all involved in Oakland. Let me get this straight...Are you saying it was okay for him to not play hard, because it was a bad situation? Let me ask you about Larry Fitzgerald. Why is he not taking plays off in Arizona? The guy is a world class athlete playing for a terrible team, but he plays his butt off no matter how bad they are.
February 4, 201313 yr Sorry to stray the subject far from the game with Moss talk, we can start another thread on that. I think I came away from the game even more impressed with Kaepernick.

So you are saying you know for 100% certainty that Larry Fitzgerald goes hard every single play? You haven't watched every single Larry Fitzgerald play.
