I can roll with that. I can see the perception of her words being insensitive but the majority of the people who are killing her for saying it are treating those words like she has no remorse and I couldn't disagree more with that sentiment.

So questions shouldn't be asked because it's over and some people won't like the answers? That would do away with any and all hearings on past events. Don't think we want to go there. Even with all the stupid questions, we need to know what went wrong and what is being done to reduce the risk of it happening again.

I am aware of the context & am not of the opinion that Clinton lacks remorse for those who perished (and their loved ones). I just believe it was a very flippant & insensitive thing to use the words she did. Everything about this situation is important because of lives lost.

 

She followed it up by saying what she should have said to start with--something to the nature of focusing effort & resources on finding the people responsible & bringing them to justice.

 

I think most on here agree with that sentiment, save one poster who most people would like to ignore.

My reaction - Really? As the head of the State Department is your job to think about all those things! Thinking about these is how it is prevented in the future.

 

I have tried to support Ms. Clinton as one of the few professionals in this administration. But it seems she has folded the tent. This was terrible statement to make to Congress.

Wow....all I can say is there were really some bites with this bait.

Hillary wasn't answering questions. She talked around every question asked. She spent most if not all the time alotted to babble. When asked why was the Ambassador there alone on Sept. 11, low and behold the gavel came down, time was up , and that question will go to a written question, an answer the public will never see and we will never hear it directly from Hillary's mouth in her words on tape.:irked:

Exactly. She was slick. She did not want to talk about the dishonesty shown early on in the crises. She's starting her 2016 campaign and certainly doesn't want to say anything that will come back and haunt her. She accomplished her goal.
