He has also been offered by Florida, Missouri and Cal in the last few days according to Bucknuts, OSU site. Site says he is visiting Florida next weekend and is planning an unoffical visit to OSU. Best of luck to this kid as he is finally getting the publicity and offers he deserves.

Thats awesome I knew they were gonna come, just took some time, Alot of folks doubted his talent when they took so long but Cal, MO, and OSU, and Florida are no slouches.

I know OSU and UK were the front runners a couple of weeks ago, but I'm fearing that the UF offer and now OSU offer has drove Kentucky down on the list. Don't know the kid or much about him (other than he is very talented) so I guess what I'm asking is he the type of kid who would want to stay home and play for the in state school or is he the type of kid who wants to go on to bigger and better things (ie. play at a traditional power)?

IMHO, anything anyone says now is just speculation, those I have talked to close to the program or close to Ryan are always professional and do not give any private information. The coaches at FCHS and those who sorround Ryan to me... genuinely care about Ryan and feel the choice is to be private between Ryan and his Family. Until he decides. Wish he had a brother..:cry:

Does he consider Ohio State knowing he wouldn't be able to play until 2014 or does he come to Kentucky or another school where he can get some playing time as a freshmen?

January 23, 201313 yr First Congrats to Ryan Timmons and his family, he is an outstanding young man and wish nothing but the best no matter what choice he makes. I don't think anyone really knows. I know tOSU has been his #1 on his list. So I would be suprised now that he has an offer that he would select someone else. But you can never tell.

January 23, 201313 yr Author I have heard nothing in regards to a grey shirt offer. I don't think Urban would give a grey shirt offer with the number of athletes he has on the hook for next years class. They need playmakers next year. Meyer does not even like to redshirt players.
