Check you All "A" history. They were one Hail Mary out of bounds play from being "A" State Champs last year. Have a history of being contenders in this tournament.

And don't think the painful memory of that play isn't still fresh in the Tigers' minds. Lots of discussion about "unfinished business" after they got through the region final Friday.

I wouldn't sleep on Owen County. They looked very good last night in the 8th Region Finals! I was very impressed with their performance.

Brossart/Collegiate in the first round could be outstanding.

 

Andrew Steggeman from Collegiate can score from anywhere on the floor and will do so on numerous occasions in any game. I believe Collegiate knocked Brossart out of this tournament just last year.

NCC may have played the best so far this year of this group. I think my Jumpers have their work cut out for them in the first round.

Russell is very solid with one of the top scorers in the state in Skaggs. Good length, not like NCC, who beat them earlier in the year by 6, but very capable.

Is NCC totally healthy?

Knott County Central is the only team in the field I've seen play this year, and based on what I've seen, they will be a very tough out. They are capable of playing with anyone in the state when they are on.
