Manti Te’o’s Dead Girlfriend, is a hoax?

Hey...I'm a lifetime Notre Dame fan, but at this point, it seems somewhat accurate.

I see Notre Dame is all in now, Jack Swarbrick the AD is backing the hoax story after ND did their own investigation.

Bomani Jones brought up a good point involving that. He said ND is a private institution and there is no way we can prove they did an actual investigation.

Notre Dame: Where real deaths are swept under the rug and fake ones are advertised on the news.

Crazy ain't it?

Al Gore couldn't have seen the unintended consequences of the internet when he invented it in the mid-90s. To set up this soap opera, we have a naive Mormon of Samoan decent that goes to the most catholic university in America, somewhere along the way he is introduced to a beautiful Polynesian pooka (*see Harvey, 1944) that apparently another Polynesian NFL player met before Manti knew of her; he fell in love, sent her flowers, she contracted leukemia, she dies of leukemia (after being in a tragic car accident) the same dad his grandmother dies, and he continues to play in her honor the rest of the season; then, he finds out she was fake and we all find out Notre Dame was fake on the football field. This has Oprah written all over it.

Nice.

It have Lifetime movie or mini-series written all over it too, lol.

I just hope the fake twitter account has that press conference today.

I don't blame Kelly for not going after an NFL job. I would be afraid he would end up my team or that his girlfriend's evil spirit would trip up Michael Vick when they go against Te'o.

Here's my question on the whole incident:

Will Manti Teo' play "Otter" in a remake of "Animal House?"

"Dawn Leibewitz please. I'm her fiancee. Well, we are engaged to be engaged."

If I understand correctly Notre Dame players became suspicious of Lennay Kekua's legitimacy when Te'o was reportedly skyping with Lennay on an old Magnavox television.

@jennifersterger: "Show me a dude that openly admits to having an online relationship with a girl. That's NOT in a kitchen with Chris Hansen."

Not Jerry Tipton @NotJerryTipton

Pat Forde believes Notre Dame and Te'o. He also believes Rick Pitino slipped, fell on top of Karen Sypher & accidentally impregnated her.

The only thing that can top this story is if Manti had revealed she was pregnant when she died.

Pretty good chance his spam folder is full after this...

Bomani Jones @bomani_jones

at this point, all that's left is for te'o's people to diagnose him with stockholm syndrome. i'm only kinda joking.
