I agree, at times he does force things and try to create too much, however, he was the difference down the stretch in the game last night. I would rather my best player on the team force the issue with the game on the line then pass it off.

Moken if you refer to my post #63...Difference was Ruthsatz at the end of the game with an assist to Tobler, And-1, and a steal to seal it.

 

I agree you definitely want your best player with the ball in his hands at the end of the game but I would like to see Ruthsatz, when struggling shooting, look to penetrate and create for others. He is definitely capable as we have all seen his ability to pass the ball however I think he gets a little too carried away with pulling the trigger even when he isn't having a great shooting night.

Certainly not, as Clyde is all over with his assesment. Plus, he deserves a thorough response after he took the time to re-watch the game and chart McDonald's shots....don't ya think?:clap:

For what it's worth, I am a big fan of McDonald. I think he could be even better if he had a coach who ran more of their offense in to him. I don't think he gets nearly enough touches in the half court sets.

As we can agree on the shooter's mentality, if there is anyone on CCH I want taking shots down the stretch it's most certainly Ruthsatz no question about it. I personally would just like to see him, at those times, distribute to his teammates and get some easy scores. I know he is capable.

 

I'm glad your adding fun to the heavy weight match going on because I know there has to be some viewers out there that may be tired of reading the back and forth comments.

 

As for the match I see more 10's on my side than Clyde...I must say I am a fan of your grading system....not so sure Clyde is going to agree...but then again do we ever?:thumb:

4 juniors on JV? Wow, that is surprising to me. Do other schools operate in the same way? 'Back in the day', juniors were cut before they were put on JV. Do they get a lot of playing time?

We talked about this last night BB Nut. We were wonderin why they didn't go to him every time, expecially since Beuter was having an off night. The "mismatch" thing I am strucggling to find. It goes both ways, offensively Drew was tough for them. He has a long way to go defensively. He is not intimidating at all for his size on the defensive side. He is still young and I am sure will get better there. Campbell by far is the best big up here can do it all. Englemon is quick with his shot and blocks shots but does not rebound as well as I think he should. McDonald is very good offensively. In NKY, when Jackson at Scott (10th I know) wants to play, he is outstanding offensively and can defend and rebound. Schulte (NCC) did not impress me last night (he has to be better than last night), Pagnallo and McDonald will be tough for the next two years. I haven't seen the others, so I won't comment on them.
