January 9, 201313 yr Not that Jimmy Buffett has much need to further his celebrity...but all he would need to do is put on a stetson hat and put out one song and he'd undoubtedly make several million dollars and win a CMA for Artist Of The Year.

January 9, 201313 yr My kids love her and are the ones who introduced her music to me. I like several of her songs but wouldn't go out and buy a cd. Also if I were 20 years younger I wouldn't want to be her boyfriend, garunteed to rip you to pieces in her next hit.
January 10, 201313 yr I really think people need to give her a break. She is young, attractive and, despite what other people say, talented. I have not bought any of her cd's, but I have seen her at the CMA Festival in Nashville, and she was entertaining. A lot of people get a snobbish attitude when it comes to Taylor Swift and country music, in general. Some people are jealous of her success. To answer to question that started this thread, she started out Country, crossed over to Pop and is basically a hybrid. And if I had a child, I would much rather they like Taylor Swift than some rapper.

Taylor Swift is not my favorite, by any means, I just think she should be applauded for her success. And I don't think there is anyone on this board that wouldn't like to be her manager.
