This was the week that they scheduled HHS and another team I believe. I know it was quite a debacle....

 

But it worked out for both teams in the long run. Warren Central was double scheduled for week 10 and told HHS that were going to play the other opponent. Meanwhile HHS courted another school to play in week 10 and then Warren Cental called HHS back and said that we indeed now want to play. HHS then had to call the other school back and say now we can't play because of a prior commitment.

Only 1 non-district NKY team on the schedule. By design or is it a result of no others wanting to play?

 

Why do you think? You apparently have many connections in Northern Kentucky, why don't you dig around and report back to us what you find out. I know for a fact that the program in Hebron has been urged to schedule the Birds the past few years and the coach has repeatedly said no.

I was being very serious in what I said. Use your connections throughout Northern Kentucky and see why teams are choosing not to play Highlands like Conner, Ryle, Boone County, Simon Kenton and Cooper. I honestly do not know if Highlands contacted them or not, but I have to believe that several of them were because why would a team want to travel around the state to play especially in todays economy.

That looks like six home games and only 4 away, same as 2012. Shouldn't the CovCath game be on Sept 28, not 27?

 

On paper, it looks like a rough schedule, i.e. no many cupcakes.

 

Dale usually likes to do bus trips when they play in Louisville and BG on the day of the game, so I suppose that will be the same with the John Hardin game, but what about the PT game?

The other N. Ky. Teams are flat out scared to play. They know they'll get physically and emotionally demoralized and their seasons will be negative from the Highlands game forward. Basically they'll be exposed.

Same reason Boyle dropped them too.
