January 1, 201313 yr There you go again!!!! Thought you learned your lesson!!!  After realizing that my comments are bigger than UK basketball, I thought my opinion mattered.
January 1, 201313 yr I think we all agree he can be an effective "wildcat" QB. He is not a "Wildcat" QB. He excels more in a spread option type attack which a lot people believe is the "Wildcat". In the traditional packages he looked awful. When put in the spread option they moved it effectively. It was not a coincidence Denver led the league in rushing once Tebow was inserted. But that is often overlooked.
January 1, 201313 yr It is my fervent wish that Tebow goes to Jacksonville and that he gets not just one but two years as the starter there. They will fail SPECTACULARLY. I think Tim Tebow is a great guy. I can't say I really love him given I'm an FSU fan, but he's a real standup guy. He is a mediocre QB that has been lucky to not be exposed more. Given enough time he will be. Please no. I'm a Jax fan, I dont think i could take it. Although, I fear what you say will be true.

They ran the ball better than anyone and they had a strong defense. They had to run the ball once Tebow was inserted. Is that the strategy you want your NFL team to have? Insert a new QB and lead the league in rushing?

Is that the strategy you want your NFL team to have? Insert a new QB and lead the league in rushing? ??????? You think they ran the ball effectively and it had nothing to do with Tebow? Why do you think Washington is running the ball so well? It is not just because Alfred Morris is a good RB. You control the clock if you can run the ball.

It is not just because Alfred Morris is a good RB. You control the clock if you can run the ball. That's not my meaning. I'm asking...why would a team switch QBs to become the top rushing team in the NFL? It worked for Denver to have an overall record of 9-9 last season(awesome) but it still doesn't prove Tebow can or will be a good QB. See, Sanchez, Mark. See, Dilfer, Trent. Weren't their teams the top rushing teams in the NFL when their teams had success? With top notch defenses?
January 1, 201313 yr Tim Tebow has succeeded everywhere he has been given a chance. He will succeed at the next stop. Just watch. He hit 65% of his passes during his career at UF and will continue to improve each year in the NFL that he gets the reps. His QBR was very similar to Sam Bradford in 2011 and you saw Sam's progression in 2012. The same will happen for Tim. He is very hard-working, high-character, great leader and intelligent and can will his team to wins. We all know he is a major success off the field and he has always been successful on the field when given a chance (UF and Denver 2011). Can't wait to see him succeed and continue to baffle the critics. God bless Tim Tebow, role model, leader and future starting QB in the NFL! His mechanics and arm strength are not elite NFL level. He just can't fit it into the tighter windows you run up against in the NFL. The narrow hash marks make the out route so much tougher to complete and exposes "great"college quarterbacks. It's also been regularly pointed in film, that Tebow doesn't read defenses well and is a slow decision maker. Love the guy, don't love the quarterback. He reminds me a lot of Jim McMahon. He had a few decent years (no great years), was carried by an elite defense, and eventually ended up as a journeyman.
January 1, 201313 yr Ahhh, McMahon......Most folks don't know this but he finished up with the Packers and the dude could flat out kick. I saw him three or four pre-games, dropping in from 60+. He was initially a punter at BYU and never lost his boot apparently. Bit of a clown, of course, but sad to see him in the NFL's concussion suit.
January 2, 201313 yr He is as good as a few QBs in the NFL. Put him in a offense suited for him and it would work, but now days WRs want to catch passes and not block. He led Denver to a playoff win, something most NFL QBs can say they HAVEN'T DONE.

January 2, 201313 yr Tebow will get a shot somewhere next season, and I would venture he'll be successful when he gets that shot. The one thing I'm 100% certain of is those that constantly bash him on here will never admit they were wrong about him, and it has absolutely nothing to do with his QB play. They don't like Tebow the person, plain and simple.

If you'd take the time to read the thread you'd actually see that EVERYONE on here likes him as a person. Take your emotions off your sleeve. We can see them.
