December 31, 201213 yr Shawn Cathcart @mizzoupoke @ESPN_Colin The man who traded away Tim Tebow is going to be the NFL's Executive of the Year. The one who traded for him just got fired.
December 31, 201213 yr Isn't it Woody Johnson that really wanted Tebow in NY and is probably the reason he will be a Jet next year.
December 31, 201213 yr Author Why? His game is not worth the circus that comes with it. He can't play QB for a prolonged period in the NFL. You can't build around him. He is a sideshow.

Still don't see how your first post summarizes Tebow. They didn't win the award or get fired for the one decision. For the right team his game would be worth the circus, at least short term. Jacksonville has been mentioned as one of them. The rest of your post I agree with.

December 31, 201213 yr This says it all about Tim Tebow - Winner in life, Winner in college football, Winner in pro football, Outstanding Christian, Hardest worker on his team, Gives millions of dollars to help the less fortunate - Tim Tebow is awesome. That says it all!

That says it all! You have to be able to separate the man vs the football player. He is NOT an NFL QB. I agree with the rest.
December 31, 201213 yr Peyton Manning was a great move by the Broncos. He is a sure-fire Hall of Fame QB. Although Tim is not a prototype NFL QB, he was 8-5 with a playoff win last year. And, nerves of steel at crunch time. I am amazed that people can ignore the success he had last year just because Denver brought in one of the greatest QB's to ever play the game in Peyton Manning.
December 31, 201213 yr I have my doubts about Tebow the player. However, given the success he had last season - and yes, it was a success - I cannot say he received any type of a fair audition to say he has no place in this league.
December 31, 201213 yr I think Tim needs to decide whether he wants to play in the NFL or not. If he does he needs to make himself into a tight end. I think he could be a very good one. If he doesn't want to play in the NFL he needs to keep insisting he's a QB.

He had decent success but was given a raw deal from day one in New York.

He stunk almost 99% of every game. He was blessed to be on a team with a strong D.
