Where is nWo when you need him? A could be major snow storm could or couldn't be headed our way for late Christmas night and Wednesday.

 

Chris Bailey says "The 18z run of the GFS continues the eastward trend. It now brings the 4"+ snow line south of the Covington area"

 

All I understand of the above is that the snow line that once was predicted to be west and north of us in NKy, is now south and east of us, or at least that is what I get out of it!

If we get 11 inches of snow I really don't see myself making it in to work Wednesday

I haven't been able to find any other source calling for more than a couple of inches in NKY.

CN2 if you have insight has the Covington area at like 10.6 inches I believe. I haven't found any local places actually giving snow totals yet.

Here in Central Ky they are giving 1-6.

I am supposed to leave for Evansville shortly for my granddaughter's first Christmas. Supposed to come back tomorrow. But now I don't know what to do. I don't want to miss her first Christmas, but I'm afraid I won't get back in time to go to work on Thursday...although that may be a moot point as it seems Orange County is going to get a foot of snow and I might make it to work anyway.

Nothing on the news since 5 a.m. this morning so they have nothing to do but report the snow that may hit or miss at this point. I have heard 2 to 4 in NKY along the I71 corridor. However, if it shifts a little could be 6 to ? If I had to work today I guess I would be forecasting anything that was close. I prey it misses us as driving to work will be an absolute fiasco. I could careless how much we get as long as it is shoveled off the highway by morning. We know that will not happen. I always liked nWo forecast as you could count on it be 95% right. JD

On the bright side, Paoli Peaks will finally be able to get something going, Some of the highest snow totals are predicted to be along and north of Hwy 56 in Indiana. That puts Paoli Peaks, French Lick and West Baden in line to get 6" or more. Of course it's not.the foot that Evansville is supposed to get, but....

Playing in the Republic Bank Classic in Lexington on Wednesday at 12Noon. Planning on going down, playing that one, and then coming back home to Alexandria, since we don't play again until Thursday at 12noon or 6pm when we will stay in Lexington for the duration. Therefore watching this storm very closely.
