I went to about 8 wrestling events growing up. The first one was @ Rupp Arena & the main event was Duggan vs. Andre the Giant. We were about 8 rows from the ring. Hacksaw got the crowd going, but Andre was a huge, huge, HUGE man.

I was a huge wrestling fan growing up, had the toys and went to events when I could get someone to take me etc...

 

At that time I loved Ric Flair and Sting. As I got a bit older (mid-teens) the NWO came into play and I was all-in on the NWO era, Nash and Hall.

 

The Rock also, how could you not enjoy the Rock?

 

I despised Stone Cold, I know, I was in the minority. But it was just as fun to cheer against people as it was to cheer for.

Jose Luis Rivera- dude got beat up by more early WWF stars then any other wrestler.

Would love to know what happened to some of these guys from Memphis and the ICW. They didn't make the kind of money they make today.Wonder what they did after they stopped wrestling.

Edge was also one of my favorite heels.

My favorite was Superfly. My little brother and I would preten everything in the house was the top rope and launch ourselves at each other.
