First time seeing BB since last year's LMIT. I REALLY like the two bigs. Burns ability to get to the rim from the wing is impressive and Trentman's game is also nice.

If I was a coach that came to scout Newport I would have left with only "plays hard most of the time" on my report. Zero chance you can put down on paper anything they do offensively.

I thought the game was well officiated tonight. Looked like a veteran 10th region crew.

Solid win for BB tonight.

Now that I've seen BB I would have them at #5 in NKY.

I think any team that plays Brossart needs to bring their "A" game. Each player plays with intensity. Each player knows how to adjust their game.

Our stats folks have him for 6 rebounds and 5 blocked shots. He also had 5 or 6 blocked shots vs Highlands Friday night.

Not sure. He had one heckuva block on a breakaway though.

Other than the 1st quarter it was really evenly played.

 

BB's D and Newport's inability to run any semblance of an offense put Newport in a big hole after 1.
