Brent Bach

Love his handle. Love his range. Love his elevation on his shot.

Only question is if he can guard at the D1 level. Hard to tell in that video.

He got 500 points in 17 days?

I'm thinking it should have said 17 games later. That seems more plausible. How many games in 17 days did he play is my next question.

That's probably right.

In addition to his shooting & scoring ability, Bach is a superb athlete. That helps him compensate for his lack of size at the high school level.

From what little bit that I seen him this summer, it appears that he has increased his athleticism even more.

In that aspect, he reminds me some of Chris Lofton.

Lofton was smooth as silk. Bach reminds me much more of a minerature Corey Pelle, a shooter with no conscience who is a threat to shoot at any time from anywhere, BUT has the great quick, flashy moves that gets him to the hoop in a hurry. Great lateral movement in the paint as well, which earns him a myriad of trips to the Free-throw line.

The comparison with Lofton had only to do with the distance of some of Bach's 3's. Lofton would fire away from anywhere & Bach will do the same.

I was never able to see Pelle play, but I'll take your word for it. :thumb:

Just asked Brent...it was 17 games. That's an average of 29.4 a game, btw.

I saw Corey play once, and I've watched Brent play several times. This is dead on.

Augusta will play Lafayette in Republic Bank Classic @ Lex. Cath in December and winner gets the winner of Scott Co. and Hazard.
