Who picked this team?

I know they sent offers out and some local kids turned it down. It's not for everybody only ones that want to play and are selected. Atleast that is my understanding. Kids that may hope to catch a college coach's eye. Congrats to Bellevue's Cam Pangallo.

Cong: to all Players chosen, it is an Honor to be on this Team.

This team seems to have been picked with a 'southern' flair. Not much from Louisville or NKY.

Good luck to Pangallo and Davis. Who from NKY was offered and declined?

Conner's Fogle is listed on the above roster as well..

Anyone know why some NKY coaches chose not to nominate players for this game? Seems like a great opportunity to get some recognition.

Tried hard to get coaches from Louisville to nominate their players. But this game is usually for kids in Eastern/Central Ky., so it'll take a year of a few L'ville kids playing in it and getting benefits from it for it to catch on with Louisville area coaches.

Glad to see Monroe County's Chad Wilson on the list. Wouldn't be surprised to see him have a significant impact in this game. I would have liked to have seen FB/LB Jacob Hodges on the list as well, he has D1 strength on a D1 frame and could have used the added exposure.

Does anybody think this may just become the Ky-TN All Star game like we used to have? Seems like since its involving so many kids from all over TN and KY that it would be logical to go back to that format.

I think that was it's intent, and I think that is where it's headed.

You can't really call this an all-star game if the best players aren't on the team. No knock on the ones that were picked but to have no one from 3 of this years state champs teams on there doesn't make sense.

Again, the HS head coaches had to NOMINATE players to be on the team.

If they didn't get nominated, they likely weren't chosen. (And, I personally reached out to kids on two of those 3 state champ teams with no representation. One of them is now playing--after his coach sent in the nomination. The other chose not to play -- and that coach never returned any of my calls/emails about recommending his kids.)

Who picked this team?

Great question. Only a few NKY kids and one of them, I will not name names, but has been one of the worst QB's in the area over the last 2 years is on the team. How does that happen?
