February 7, 201313 yr mikel horton @mikelhorton1 Ill be at The University of KENTUCKY Saturday I am not familiar with this kid but he is blowing up on the recruiting trail. Bama is having him down. He is a teammate of the Meadows kid that committed to UK yesterday.
February 7, 201313 yr ^4* 2014 RB. Has offers from Kentucky, IU, Kent State, Toledo, and Bowling Green. Has drawn interest from the likes of Bama, FSU, Georgia, Michigan, LSU, Michigan State, WV, ND, Ohio State, and Penn State.
February 7, 201313 yr UK will finish around 12th or 13th in the SEC in most recruiting rankings. They would be 4th in the Big 10 and the Big 12. They would be first in the Big East!

February 7, 201313 yr Like being the skinniest kid at fat camp... They got #28 class in 2 months I would like to think they will move up given 12 months! This staff is young, confident and agressive they will get it done on the recruiting trail!
February 7, 201313 yr ^ I think the above depends on this seasons performance......reputation can make things great initially, but now he'll be creating a whole new reputation. Next year's recruiting battle between UK and U of L should be a fun one to watch.

Next year they will need to recruit based on what they do at UK.
February 7, 201313 yr They offered but it wasn't a commitable offer in that if he wanted to commit on the spot they would not have taken it. It is part of the process on recruiting backup options. If they lost Clark two days ago for example, there is little chance to make up that ground with Timmons in a short period of time. So the offer is extended, but not to the point of being able to verbal on the players schedule. Happens everywhere with guys on the second tier of a recruiting board. And after talking with several more OSU insiders I am 100% this was the case. Very good get for UK, but to say they "beat out" Ohio State isn't accurate... I still disagree GT, and he decided UK was the best place for him. I'm done on this but I totally stick to my statement.

February 8, 201313 yr Apparently Tevin Lawson is not visiting UK this weekend. Matt jones tweeted that anyways.

February 8, 201313 yr Author J.Rowland @RowlandRIVALS Not exaggerating; not only will this junior day be biggest in #UK history. One of the biggest in all college football, anywhere, this year.
February 8, 201313 yr Like being the skinniest kid at fat camp... I'd consider that a huge victory for UK football for now.
