And yes I am well aware of the community service coach does.He just is polishing up his act.You can put whip cream on a terd but underneath it is still a terd.

 

Love when people say this. He raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for people in need. Why does it matter what his intentions were?

Dreams change after 12+ years.

 

Fans like you are a disgrace to sports. Cussing your team and their coach all the way, every bad game that is played, every mistake that is made, but I'm sure last April you were one of the proudest there was. Probably didn't have a bad word to say about Coach Cal that night, even though you were probably calling for his head when they lost to WVU in 2010, or UConn in 2011, heck maybe even against Vandy in 2012 in the SEC Championship.

 

Coach Cal is one of the better things to ever happen to the University of Kentucky, at least in my younger lifetime. They were in a very dark place and the things that he does, which go far above and beyond the basketball court, have been great for the University, the State, and most importantly the amount of players lives that he has helped change and the lives of their families.

 

He's good enough for Joe B. Hall. In fact Hall probably sings his praises left and right, which is why he's very much still involved in the program and an adviser for Coach Cal. I refuse to revisit anything because the 2012 NCAA banner will never come down from the rafters of Rupp. And yet you probably look at it with disgust.

 

I've thoroughly enjoyed the last three years and hope too enjoy many more underneath Cal. Must be rough to continually have a bitter taste in your mouth with all of his continued success.

The difference is Coach K did not run from the allegations,He stayed and delt with and took responsibility for what happened under his watch not run to the next program that would have him. That is the difference in a class act and a gutter dweller.

That might be the oddest post I have ever read. The NCAA ruled Rose eligible with the caveat to reopen the case with more evidence. Memphis was always aware of this. It is not as if they were pushing Cal out the door amidst pending violations. You understand they were trying to retain Cal, don't you?
