Kinda falls in line with what he's said all along, isn't it?

I think that is correct. If I remember his press conference when he took the position, I believe he said this is an 8-10 year job and not a lifetime one. To be honest I think he is right as often enough we think that when things are going good, it makes it look like everything a program is doing is fun and easy. However if you take a look at the coaches before they took the job and what they looked like after, it definitely appears the job did take a toll on them.

6 or 7 years lol what a joke.He will stay until the sanctions start coming down then bail like he has does done everywhere else he has coached.LOL

Who knows? Maybe this is part of Coach Cal'sunique mind games and marketing. What kind of money would end up being used to "lure" him to stay once everyone thought he was leaving/retiring. Probably not, but it was a thought. That guy is always a few steps and moves ahead.

Please.. Just go away. I mean haters gonna hate but these statements are getting so old. I guess you haven't see/heard all that Coach Cal has done for the community and abroad. Get over it. Somebody was gonna tell you this anyway, so....

Really? Where did you get that scoop? That's some shocking breaking news to me, I sure haven't heard that one before?

With that said, anything can happen in today's college coaching world. Lot of leeches on these kids and when your dealing with the elite of the elite you could end up in a compromising situation. You definitely have to be careful, one wrong recruit can bring it all crashing down. I think Cal has filtered recruits more in the last couple years then his days at UMASS and Memphis. So far luckily he's been able to get enough talent to not have to take as many risks as he had to before, difference between being at Memphis and UK.

I think he wants to remind recruits that he isn't going anywhere, him and the rest of the staff are having too much fun, hard work but fun as well, and they thrive on negative comments towards them.

Go ask the U Mass or Memphis fans how they feel about Coach Cheat. The funny thing is 3 years from now when your program is on probation and he has moved on your the same UK Idiots that will be complaining.Enjoy it while you can

That's certainly a well thought out opinion, one that is also very unique. I look forward to seeing how the next couple of years go to see if your prediction is correct

Anyone else see the irony of a poster with the name "bluebirdman" (Presumably a Highlands fan/alum) accusing others of cheating?

How many times has Coach Mueller or the Highlands program been on any type of probation????? What I thought.I was raised a die hard UK fan.I still am a UK fan just not a fan of Coach Cals tactics.Trouble follows him wherever he has been.I like to win but not at the cost of the integrety of the program. He ruins a program than leaves town and leaves a mess EVERYWHERE he has been and UK it will be no different!!!! UK is a a top 5 program in basketball they deserve respect like a Duke program Coack K is a class act wins but within the rules no violations no probation.
