Without knowing the staff yet, I will say 6-6 next year. It really think if Max Smith doesn't get hurt this year they would have won probably 4 games. Plus they will return a ton of good young guys that played a ton this year. If the Stoops can get the right staff and recruit at least at the level UK has in the last several years I think they can be pretty good in the next couple of years.

 

A healthy Josh Clemons will do wonders for the UK offense.

Hate the hire. Already said as much. Again, we watched HIS FSU defense give up 243 yards rushing to Florida last Saturday. That FSU defense will be more talented than any defense he will ever have at UK. They should have pulled his offer after watching HIS FSU defense give up 36 points to Florida. He gives up 72 points to Florida at UK. Just dumb. Music City Bowl my hind end. 4-8 here we come. He'll be gone in 3 years. Waste of money. Football mediocrity continues.

I'm not even sold that the ACC is better than the Big East. UK needed a warm body and they got it. As an FSU fan I am glad he is gone.

Here is what kills me, people didn't want Brent Pease and I'm dang glad he didn't get hired, but some of the same people who didn't want Pease (on other sites) are excited about Stoops' hire? Really? Pease, just waxed FSU and their defense.

 

Another thing, he won't ever have the talent here that he had on the field the other night against Florida. The only way to have that kind of talent would have had to hire a big name hire. And they didn't. Same stuff.
