They looked like the same old crappy defense that gives up big plays and commits personal fouls after making a stop on 3rd and 39 to me. I haven't seen a great FSU defense in over a decade.

Not to mention, when FSU was great on defense they forced turnovers, murdered quarterbacks and scored on special teams and defense almost every game. When FSU had a great defense they dominated the ACC. Now after Mickey Andrews never realized he had to change with the times his defenses got so crappy that all Stoops had to do was teach the art of tackling and the numbers would improve. I've followed FSU since I was 15 and they haven't had a great defense since maybe 2001 or 2002. I don't care what the numbers say.

The Seminoles also have allowed the fewest first downs (13.27 per game) and the fewest third down conversions (25.0 percent) in the nation. I see no reason whatsoever for Kentucky fans to not love this hire.

I never said the numbers were wrong. I said the defense still sucks. Just like Notre Dame is number 1 and people say they suck. Same thing.
