A player like him deserves to be called out. I hope there are some repercussions for him after LexCath looks at the films. What I don't understand is why he wasn't taken out of the game when he kept doing it repeatedly. Their coach HAD to see it going on. Our coaches were screaming to the refs to get him out of the game because he was trying to hurt people. He succeeded.

I just read a retweet by a HHS player that I follow that was tweeted by a LexCath player that said...."Ft Thomas is the richest town in Kentucky".......Bahahahahahahahaha!!! Talk about calling the kettle black....All I know is it is getting pretty chippy on Twitter!

 

To add to this....apparently my post #35 on the final game thread has become Twitter fodder amongst the LC players...One player took a pic of the post then added this comment "Way to make me proud" and Mr #70 added "apparently you all are a bunch of hick coach pay off the ref cheap shot players"....

That is such crap. So, basically the thug enjoyed butting LBers who weighed almost 70-90 lbs lighter. I'm sorry to hear that.

I REALLY hate hearing that. I hate to call out individual players here but what #70 did was gutless and classless.

 

Ditto for the coaching staff.

Unfortunately, we found out today that our son WILL be missing the game due to being head butted by #70. Watched the play on Hudl - it was sickening to see. You can see him throw his head back and head butt him. He had just came back after a concussion injury from the Ryle game. First play in #70 hit him hard and he's out for state.

 

My son told me about this the other night. It's like he has the mentality that if they aren't going to win, he'll make sure to take as many players out of the game as possible. Would be interesting to know if #70 played like this all season against other teams, or did he save it up for the Birds?

The clip is shocking to watch. That's the same treatment #2 got. I think all the LC coaches should look at this clip and do something about it. Too bad he's a senior.

Actually, I am glad he is a senior. At least he is done trying to hurt other players at the high school level. I wonder if he plays any other sports. If he does, LexCath should definitely suspend him for a significant period of time in the other sport. The LexCath coaches have the entire tape so they KNOW how "bush league" this clown is.

Being able to watch just these clips in real time and slo mo, just, um, can't find the words....Every single play shows #70 consistently and continuously head butting #9 Hicks. I don't know how the kid doesn't have a concussion too. When he wasn't getting head butted, he was getting punched, sometimes 2-3 times he was swung at. And this player is PROUD of himself?

After seeing this on tape, I cannot tell you how angry I am at the refs. They had to see this stuff going on and chose to ignore it. The HHS coaches were screaming at them after every play so the KNEW it was happening and did nothing to stop it. The number 1 job for the refs is to control the game and protect the players. Their inaction contributed to at least two players getting concussions. This is serious stuff!! The tape needs to be sent to the KHSAA and the refs should be fired, not suspended, but fired. It is one thing to miss calls on the field. All refs do because we are all human. This is different though. They CHOSE to simply ignore incredibly dangerous play by a player or players out of control - no excuse for that.
