I think this should be 8-7 Somerset. This was my senior year and Mike Kelly missed a 30? yd FG at the end of the game.

 

It was 8-7. Missed an 18 yard fg. The ball was spotted one foot from the goal line with 42 seconds left. Remember it like it was yesterday. But we made them pay the next year at their place.

I think that long drive from NKy could come into play, plus, Somersets defense has been there staple this year, even when the O sputters, the D is keeping them in games. Looks like the Jumpers O has been playing well recently, too, so, I'm going to go with them in a close, hard fought game.. 27-21

After watching Somerset on film I'd be a bit surprised to see them put up 27.

I looked at all film on NCC and I see a Team Danville would take to wire maybe Beat. Lots of people would look Good aganist Walton, Holy Cross, Newport Bishop Bross. and ect. So we will see Friday. Have a nice safe Trip.

Not a lot of teams look very good against Beechwood... Say what you will, but even if you consider these games "cake walks" but it has NCC on a roll, and the same people like you questioned it in 2010, but look what happened, that NCC team rolled everyone in their path. Come to play Friday and we'll see who wins state.

NCC was at Somerset in 06, no big deal.

I don't understand, when Danville beat Boyle Co. and Played SK to a 5 point game, everyone thought they were pretty good. Then NCC loses to SK by 8 and SK is pretty good. Danvilles Def. holds SK to 12 pts. NCC lets them score 28 pts. Somerset holds Danville to 7 pts in both games and Scores 31 and 24 but we No Good and You people can beat the World. Don't Figure!!!! I promise you Somerset will show up Friday Night and there want be one bit of Fear in any Kid they put on the Field. Because We All Know.

Last Post on Game. I don't know why Some posters from NCC will not admitt Somerset has a Good Football Team. To those who did, Thank You. I know NCC has a good team and I feel that whomever makes the fewest mistakes will win this Game. Have a Safe trip and enjoy the Game.
