We lost to Fort Knox in 83...shot selves in the the foot about 15 times.

Yes, in dramatic fashion with under a minute to go, 12-7.

I guarantee you you have not faced a Def. as good all Year. That is why it will be a good Game. Yes I agree you have to line up and beat the person across from you and Power Ratings are sometimes out in left field, but usually at this time of year they are pretty close. I just watched the last two Somerset games and you were getting on the NCC's road to the semi final? All due respect to Danville but they didn't impress me. LCA looked rough! I think Jumper Dad has a good grasp on this game coming up. Somerset seems to have a sound defense. The offense looks ok. IMO. I think if NCC doesn't win by 2TD's or more they didn't play very well. Not saying Somerset can't win this game, just saying after watching last 2 Somerset games NCC looks to be the better team. But that's why you play the game and I'm looking forward to coming down to Somerset to watch some football.

I recall those Jumper teams. Good RB in Fletcher, QB & LB in Massey. Good team but when I saw Boyle push them to the limit in the old Sub-District game in '84 I didn't think they would win it all. I do remember someone stating in the press box to "bring on Danville" that year. I told the guy that it wouldn't have been close with that Admiral team that season.

Those votes just mean their are more NKY folk on here. I'm just going off what I watched.

This a winable game for the Jumpers and playing in the Briar Patch is advantage for them. NCC has to be the favorite but this game is far from a fore gone conclusion.

Bottomline: you don't get this far in the season being a crappy team!! Both teams are solid programs, and both are capable of winning this game. I look for a really good game. The winner of this game takes home the big trophy the following week.

NCC will not win let alone by two tds. I think this is somersets year to end the hundred year drought. Somerset 34-12. Call me crazy but I can see it.
