The Greyhound is excellent! They are known for their fried chicken and their pork chops are a favorite also. It is a sit down dinner so if you get to N. Ky. early and have an hour extra, you can't go wrong with the Greyhound. If time is short, there are many fast food places at the Buttermilk Pk. exit as sportsguy said above. If you want the biggest and best burger you ever had at a football game, come on in to the stadium. The grill will be working at the stadium I am sure.

Barleycorns, on Dixie Highway about 1-2 miles south of Beechwood Road. Sports bar type of place.

 

Indigo, on Dixie Hwy in Ft. Mitchell on the other side of I75 from Krogers. Indigo - Menu

 

Oriental Wok, very nice Chinese restaurant at Buttermilk Pk just west of I75

 

Montgomery Inn, great ribs place also at Buttermilk just west of I75 (across from Oriental Wok)

 

Montoyas, very good Mexican place, fresh tasty food, in a strip plaza next to Oriental Wok off of Buttermilk.

 

All these places are within 5-10 minutes of Beechwood, depending on traffic and lights.

I was pretty sceptical about the burger, but I have to agree with VOR, that rascal is huge!

Because they lost 21 of 22 Sr starters from last years team, so, alot of 1st year starters.. Doesn't mean they aren't still a capable team, but, I think even most of the B'Wood faithful would tell you that this isn't one of there stronger teams.. Like I said, still very capable, but, not the juggernaut some of there previous teams were.. Frankfort should have the talent and speed advantage in this one..

 

Yes, because we saw what it meant to be a"Juggernaut" the previous two seasons. I will not pretend that Beechwood is not down talent-wise, but I just think there's a lot to be said for having a large number of good players that are playing well together. I also don't believe we have seen Nussbaums best game this year. I expect that to happen tomorrow night.

 

I like Beechwood's chancse in this one. I will certainly be stunned if Frankfort Wins by more than 10 points. I think either one wins it by less than a single score. I'm not sure if we can score a ton, but I just don't see Frankfort doing a lot on the ground. If we can keep them from getting outside, I don't think there's a better linebacking crew than the 4 or 5 guys we have getting time at LB. With Nuss as the leader, ouch!

Seriously, the address is 54 Beechwood Rd. You will see the field when you are getting off the exit. In fact, I would look at the Parking in Krogers and coming in the back gate.

Just a bit over 24 hours to kick off. Practiced just ended in the Capital City - hay is in the barn! Looking forward to my first visit to Beechwood, hope it goes well. Bust of luck to both teams. I think we will see a ESPN classic in Friday!

Frankfort is a "no frills" group and there is no better place than the FT. WRIGHT RESTAURANT. Of Course, that might be the best thing for Beechwood for the Panthers to fill up on the MONSTROUS double deckers.

I haven't posted any predictions this season but I will post one on this game. I have seen a good amount of film on Frankfort and I think Beechwood wins by at least 2 TD's. As long as the Tigers take care of the ball they should get a clear win that may surprise some people. Go Tigers!!
