November 8, 201213 yr Come on, History. That's a cop-out. The man is on the record as to why he voted against it. Isn't Mrs. Obama is a huge advocate for partial birth abortion?
November 8, 201213 yr I'm only drawing conclusions from the answer to questions that have been asked. To say the story has changed would be a massive understatement. No doubt. I'm still willing to question, but I'm not comfortable drawing conclusions without enough info.
November 8, 201213 yr We need to allow for abortions for health, rape and incest, as the way it was in most states before Roe vs Wade. No other reason for abortion. Otherwise, people must live with the consequences of their actions. You still haven't answered my question. What do you do to prevent abortions from occurring? I, too, ask why a child of rape or incest isn't a life or worthy of living, if life begins at conception.
November 8, 201213 yr This is why I asked BB why he's against abortion. My guess is he will say because it's immoral and it takes the life of an innocent child. To have a caveat is 100% hypocritical and shows that he can't walk the walk when it comes to his faith. I'm against it 100%. I asked my wife the what if question, what if her life were in danger? Her response was along the line of if I aborted her child she would kill me. It's my experience that most women who want the child feel the same way. I could be way off on that but that's been my experience. Fathers on the other hand would be more likely to save the lives of their wives.
November 8, 201213 yr No doubt. I'm still willing to question, but I'm not comfortable drawing conclusions without enough info. I understand 100%. Honestly I've grown tired of picking at the president especially since the election is over but there's a reason that the story keeps changing.
November 8, 201213 yr I understand 100%. Honestly I've grown tired of picking at the president especially since the election is over but there's a reason that the story keeps changing. There may be. It could be devious, negligent or it could be something that we'd understand if we knew. There might be security reasons as to why we aren't told more.
November 8, 201213 yr Author We are going off track here. God intended for sexual relations between a man and woman as a good thing that could lead to new life. Yet we all know that due to biological reasons and modern medical practices that woman may not become pregnant. Again the Bible is clear that homosexual relations are forbidden. MC Papa, not really interested in your personal life, but 1990, that is a long drought. Good one. There was a day in October 1990 that made, shall we say, a vas deferens in ol' papa's reproductive capabilities.
November 8, 201213 yr Author On a related note. I think this was a tweet from Alec Baldwin yesterday: You know your party is in trouble when people ask, “did the rape guy win”, and you have to ask, “which one?”

Yet we all know that due to biological reasons and modern medical practices that woman may not become pregnant. Again the Bible is clear that homosexual relations are forbidden. MC Papa, not really interested in your personal life, but 1990, that is a long drought. I would like to know what others have asked you: You said "We need to allow for abortions for health, rape and incest". Yet the Bible is against it correct? But God forbid if anyone wants to be happy and live a life with a same sex partner and not be lonely the rest ofr their lives? So, why is their picking and choosing of when it is okay and not okay to have an abortion? Waiting for the "double talk to cover yourself", also words you use.
November 9, 201213 yr On a related note. I think this was a tweet from Alec Baldwin yesterday: You know your party is in trouble when people ask, “did the rape guy win”, and you have to ask, “which one?” I thought he left the country when GWB was re-elected.
November 9, 201213 yr To reply to many other statements, I was going with what was the law of the land before Roe vs Wade. I can reduce the 3 options to just in the case of the mother's health. I believe that it is wrong to kill the unborn. The one exception would still be a tough decision and up to the parents. Once again, people have to live with the consequences of their decisions.

November 9, 201213 yr Author I thought he left the country when GWB was re-elected. Kinda like the President. He's baaaaaaaaaccckk.
November 9, 201213 yr Kinda like the President. He's baaaaaaaaaccckk. And kinda like the President, he stretches the truth and has an inflated ego. Sent from my Samsung Stratosphere using Forum Runner
November 9, 201213 yr If President Obama said the sun was yellow many of you would say he's being crafty with his words and the others would say he's paying hommage to Hirohito's reign.
