October 31, 201213 yr What food do you love to have too much of so you can enjoy it the next day? I've got a good friend who argues that cold leftover pizza sometimes hits the spot more than a fresh pie. My dad thinks cold meatloaf sandwiches made from my mom's meatloaf are one of the finest pleasures in life (I wouldn't entirely disagree). My grandpa used to think there was nothing better than eating cold, leftover hotdogs...grilled the day before and kept overnight in the fridge. Then there's me...I'd go with leftover Kraft macaroni and cheese. I LOVE mac and cheese, but I genuinely prefer it to be a day leftover. What do you like to eat a day late?
October 31, 201213 yr Thanksgiving dinner. I love the leftovers the next day and really the rest of the weekend because we always have to much food and most of my family doesn't care to take it with them. Turkey for days!

I would have to agree with your Dad, I love a cold meatloaf sandwich.
October 31, 201213 yr I will go with pizza number 1, depending on where it is from, and chicken number 2.
October 31, 201213 yr Chili, without question. It's always better the second time around. I completely agree with that. Always taste just a little better the next day for some reason. No matter what. I love then taking the extra chili, maybe mixing some in with Velveeta Shells & Cheese. Or maybe putting it over a baked potato...I love it!
October 31, 201213 yr Author Chili, without question. It's always better the second time around. ...I don't ever even start to eat chili - or burgoo, or vegetable soup, or bean soup - until it's at least a day old.
October 31, 201213 yr Chili is number 1. Then pretty much anything Italian - pizza, pasta, bruschetta, etc
October 31, 201213 yr Are we talking about reheating the food or eating it cold? Cold chili would be rather gross IMO.
