My heart says Notre Dame but for some reason I don't feel good about this game. Tough matchup on the road for the Irish.

They way everybody talks about the Sooners on here we should go ahead and hand them the National Championship! ND is going to beat them and prove they are the best!

I just can't see Notre Dame winning in Norman. If it was a South Bend it might be a different story. I'm thinking OU 27-17.

This is a joke right? They've beat 3 average football teams. Oklahoma is the first "good" team they've played all season.

If they would have beaten Notre Dame, Michigan would be in the top 10 right now probably or close to it. Would we then be saying Michigan was just an average football team? Michigans two losses came against two of the best teams in the country, that does not mean they are just an average team.

Michigan State I can buy them just being average, and Stanford is a good team no matter where you play them at. They are another team with two losses, however did beat that USC team who is a good team that you talk about. I am not saying Notre Dame has played great teams week in and week out. Yeah he probably shouldn't have said the toughest, he should have just said one of the toughest. Which it has been one of the toughest, and may end up being in the top 5 in toughest once they play Oklahoma and USC.

I believe ND can hold them to 21 (K-State held them to 19), but like you I am not seeing that possible if the defense is forced to stay on the field a tremendous amount.

 

That's the big difference K State has an explosive offense that really helped out their D, I just don't see ND being able to do that.

I hope ND can pull it out. I think the secondary will be challenged this week. The big boys up front to play their best game thus far. I too have an uneasy feeling this week.

Phil Steele had Notre Dame ranked #1 based on SOS preseason. Unfortunately some of their opponents have not lived up to expectations.

Oklahoma has won 42 of their last 43 games in Norman....That was KState earlier this year.

Right, because those teams (Michigan, Michigan State, Stanford, Miami (FL), etc.) are simply average football teams that were vastly overrated to begin the season.
