Very strong argument for voter ID. It would eliminate most corruption and billboards.

I am a voter ID supporter. I do wish it would have been handled differently in some states but I am not against the implementation of voter ID laws if the laws are implemented properly and timely.

It's always amazing how often we talk intent on here and everyone is convinced they're right UNTIL they see something that others say that bothers them in some sense.

 

Let me state the obvious so we can get it out of the way: I do NOT know who put up the billboard so , therefore, I cannot say with 100% confidence that I know what their intent was.

As stated many times before, some blacks are voting for Obama because he is black, some whites are voting against Obama because he is black.

 

I, too, am still interested in who purchased the billboards. If it's the group that purchased the parcel of AA Highway, then we know their motive.

I do not think it falls under "racist." My example sort of proves that. The intent is to win an election through voter intimidation. Racist would be true if the sole reason they did it was because of the neighborhood being black. They did it because the 'hood votes D.
