Off the bench:

Franzen

Another big kid from football, can't recall his name

The rest will get sparring minutes, could be a number of players just depends.

The Newcath will primarily play their starters barring some injury or foul trouble.

Jake Haas.

Besides Franzen, Dupont, and DeVoto you have two junior's 6'5" Josh Verkamp and 6'4" Emerson Dawson. If Jr. footballer Tyler Lyon plays you can add some more size to crash the boards.

Is the Covington kid the transfer from Holmes ?

I just posted in another thread but I think NCC will have the best starting 5 in the 9th but I really question their depth/bench. They will be a top team in the 9th all year obviously. The 9th will be wide open though with 6-7 quality teams.

Sorry if it has already been posted in this thread or another but I heard today that both Chames and Pouncy have been ruled eligible for Holmes this year.

I will be making my practice rounds for our nkysports.com team previews starting next week. Newcath Wed night, Holmes Thurs afternoon, and Dixie Fri afternoon.

Will post my thoughts after each and provide a link to the full stories.

.

Anymore you just assume they're eligible until you hear otherwise.

Pouncy? first name and where did he play last?

Chames will really help them.

Played at HC.

Very true.

Zach Pouncy...and as Clyde said, played at HC last year.

Can't put a face to a name though so I honestly have no idea who he is.

If you saw HC JV you will remember him.

Shorter light skinned "thick" kid? Or taller and skinny?

Edit: Just realized who you're talking about. Shorter kid that plays guard.

I guess Holmes and HC have a reciprocal agreement. You get booted from one school you are immediately eligible at the other.

I'd be interested to know how the KHSAA comes up with their decisions. For those most part it is simply a public to private and vice versa move and not change of address.

Q - What would the Covington from Holmes to NCC be classified as ? - LOL

I understand that but it just seems odd that those two schools seem to have revolving doors for their athletes.
