Couldn't agree more! I was a heavy believer in SC for months but the closer it gets to 3:30 I can see him wearing Blue. On thing about UK they have done everything to get that bad taste out of DB's mouth from the previouse regime and it doesn't hurt that his dad is a die-hard UK fan. Great day for Drew and equally NK football as a whole that there are some D1 athletes in this part of the State as well.

Very, very happy for Drew and his opportunity. This answers the question "Will he play hoops this year?" He will be missed on the hardwood for sure.

His mom told me at the 33rd District tourney that when they lost to Cooper it was his last game. Wherever he goes, attending in the Spring gives him a distinct advantage over waiting until the fall.

It's a big benefit if he is not redshirting. If he does redshirt then it's not as big of an advantage. Not sure what UK told him but Spurrier told him he is not automatically redshirting.

I predict if Barker chooses UK, he will redshirt in 2014. That will make Towles a Senior and Barker will be a redshirt freshman in 2015. There will really only be a 1 year overlap.
