So true! A school has a chance for one of the top QB's in the country, you can't sit on your hands and lead him along like dangling a carrot in front of a horse.

 

OSU has no one to blame but themselves. SC has done it right from the start and if he chooses not to go there, they know they did everything possible to have as good of a chance as anybody.

I'm not even saying it was a "mistake." Maybe. Maybe not. They obviously thought highly of him but...life goes on.

Bottomline here is that OSU had a top choice, they pursued, they lost. Meanwhile Barker moved on. He wasn't going to sit around and wait to be a bridesmaid. No mistakes here by anyone, just the game of recruiting as Clyde pointed out. I believe all will work out in the end for all parties. Karma is a great thing and will have spoken when all is written. To be clear, there is zero animosity on Drew's part.
