Seattle 14 Green Bay 12

Still not as big of a blown call as Jim Joyce ruining the perfect game last year.

Joyce's call didn't cost anyone a win.

I hate this for the Packers and their fans...

I hate this for the replacement referees that are doing the best they can...

I hate this for fans of football who are getting a tainted product...

And I hate this for myself, because it's all I'm going to get to talk about/hear about in regards to this game.

It is unfortunate. The country got to see a heck of a Seattle defense but no one will be talking about them.

Tremendous defensive performance by Seattle. That is what gets lost in this debacle.

Makes me proud that I drafted them in my money league. I'm just glad that they didn't concuss my money league QB, Aaron. That would have been awkward at the next team meeting. Which is need after our winless start to the season in my money league.....smh....

I went to bed after the last Packers TD. What'd I miss?

John Clayyon on set in a Reebok workout shirt? Truly bizarro night.

You saw the commercial. He was probably naked with two Mötley Crüe groupies when ESPN called.

Same thing happened to me. I fell asleep when the Packers punted.

Long story short.....Roger Goodell is the worst NFL commissioner in my lifetime. Maybe even the worst commissioner in sports today.

I never want to hear anyone talking about NBA refs again. EVER!!!!!!

NBA Refs cheat. There I said it. I'm talking about them. :sssh::D

Here's how I feel now. Football = Futbol

His name is Gary Bettman, NHL Commissioner, and all three CBAs have ended with a work stoppage during his time as commissioner. He has no pull with the players and no influence with the owners... of course, that's why the owners love their little stooge...

Long story short.....Roger Goodell is the worst NFL commissioner in my lifetime. Maybe even the worst commissioner in sports today.

I agree with Getslow that the worst is Bettman. It's not even a contest.

Goodell is easily the worst NFL commissioner I've ever been alive to see (I believe there have only been 2 in my lifetime so that's easy). I believe he is the worst NFL commissioner EVER.

The problem with the replacement refs is that Goodell doesn't care whatsoever who is upset. He has no incentive to care. The game is too popular and the fans will remain unwilling to exercise the one right they can to correct it which is to stop watching and giving the NFL their money. None of us seem to have the willpower for that. Therefore Roger probably figures what does it matter? If you'll pay the same for a worse product, he'll give you that worse product. I understand it from a business sense, but that doesn't make him any better a commissioner.

It isn't Goodell's call. If you want to blame someone blame the owners or the the regular refs.

Why is it not his call? Isn't he the guy in charge? Can he not fix it? Is this not taking place under his watch?

The owners are his boss. Not the other way around.
