Big Slick
Most of the NCAA conferences told their refs if you leave don't come back. That is why you see so many from the lesser leagues, etc.
BIGZIG
Nope. I was raised by a man who had a very strong union background. He would reach up out of his grave and choke me if I were to cross any sort of picket line or whatever it is the regular refs are doing right now. HammerTime
My best friend that refs high school games around here has a guy that he refs with that was brought up to be a replacement referee. He is also an OVC official but the kicker of it all is that he lost all of his OVC games (and accreditation) to do the NFL games. Along with the salary they get free air travel, free hotel, a per diem, and some additional play money. He had the Jets/Bills in Week 1. Not sure about this past week. Do you know what the pay was? bugatti
Do you know what the pay was? I am wanting to say $4,000-$5,000 but I could be mistaken.
HammerTime
I am wanting to say $4,000-$5,000 but I could be mistaken. So about 100K for a year, assuming 20 games.
bugatti
So about 100K for a year, assuming 20 games. I'm wrong. $3,500 for head referee. $3,000 for the others. I think he said it equates to a higher amount when you throw in other things. PurplePride92
Haha not if you're on my crew, I get complimented by women for how well I annunciate. It's funny because when ever I hear the word annunciate I think of the Jeff Foxworthy skit about Nascar and Jeff Gordon. Affirmative action will get me on the mic, homey. Well spoken black men are all the rage these days. I can be pretty loud too so I got three things to offer. Holding. Number 63 of the offense. 10 yards from the spot of the foul. Repeat first down. See, I got this.

NEERFAN
For what reason? My buddy told me he didn't want to be considered a scab. I know he's done plenty of big HS games in Ohio both on the gridiron and the hardwood. It makes no sense to me that he didn't give it a whirl. Or maybe an upper level D-1 ref?
LRCW
This guy works at the hospital I do, and is one of the replacement officials. http://dailyindependent.com/localsports/x620789967/AARON-SNYDER-First-Fridays-and-now-Sundays
