Notre Dame 20 Michigan State 3

It will be tough to make it with their remaining schedule. I have thought all season ND could win 8 games yet be much improved from last season. Still have Michgan, Oklahoma, USC, BYU, Miami, and Stanford remaining. Impressive schedule.

Before the season started, I agreed with looking at their schedule and how tough it was and your sentiment that they could be improved and still only win 8. After 3 weeks, I think they look athletic and consistent enough to compete with any of those teams. They can lose 2 games and still be in the BCS bowl conversation, IMO.

Holding Bell to 77 yards on 19 carries speaks volumes of ND's front 7. All around good game. Since I can remember watching ND, I can't remember them dominating an O like this on the road, especially in a prime time match up. Next step will be to see if they can stop Denard.

Go Irish! Beat Michigan!

Not a fan of the Irish, but college football is much better when they are this relevant.

Without a doubt.

None of those teams have shown to be dominant. If ND continues to get strong play from D they "can" win against all of them.

They can also go in the proverbial tank but that's more on them and not the opponent.

For them to make a BCS game I do not think they can afford 3 losses. While those schools are more than beatable, it will be a challenge to go through it all with less than 3 losses considering the games are @ OU and @ USC. Golson is still a redshirt freshman that has his struggles. Getting back Cierre Wood was huge for the Irish.

I thought Kelly called a great game. Looked like a debacle underway the first few minutes, but he got them settled down quickly and they were effective. Michigan State had not allowed an offensive TD until Saturday night.

Very impressive win. The Irish played hard and smart.......which hasn't been the case much recently.

Nice win for the IRISH!!! Can they continue to improve against a BRUTAL schedule?
