I have Otterbox Defenders for 3 iphones in our household because I have 2 teenagers and me. I have had the otterboxes for a couple of years and loved them as I drop my phone a lot. My oldest dropped her phone last week in an otterbox and the screen shattered on the iphone. I didn't think you could do that.

Won't otterbox cover that? Seems like I remember reading that somewhere but I am probably wrong.

Just switched to Verizon and ordered one for me and the GF yesterday. Finally out of the darn Droid.

Still waiting to get mine. Local ATT stores have been out since opening day and still haven't got any in. I was going to order online a couple weeks ago but it said it wouldn't ship for 14-21 day's so I figured I would take my chances getting one sooner in store. Now that those couple weeks have went by I am hoping the online store has them in stock and ready to ship, if not I'll still be playing the waiting game. Eventually though I will have one, maybe by the time the 6 comes out.

Well that was fast, I ordered the phone sunday after noon, the screen protectors arrived Tuesday and the phone just came in this morning. I'm officially an Iphone user. I must say even on Sprint which is primarily 3G this thing is way faster than my old Droid Evo Shift. I often wouldn't even get text messages at my desk for 20-30 minutes before they'd all come in at once, with the Iphone I'm on the internet on at my desk and pulling up BGP without any problems.

I am going to have to take mine to an apple store. I have a lot of things turned off, and after only using safari, and making a couple of phone calls for 41 minutes of usage I'm down to 84%.

 

Yesterday I got about 3 hours of usage and I was down to around 15%.

 

Hopefully apple will replace it.

If it ever comes to fruition, could be used to shut down different aspects of your phone or completely turn off your phone in certain areas.

I am going to have to take mine to an apple store. I have a lot of things turned off, and after only using safari, and making a couple of phone calls for 41 minutes of usage I'm down to 84%.

 

Yesterday I got about 3 hours of usage and I was down to around 15%.

 

Hopefully apple will replace it.

I'm now at 1 hour 13 minutes usage and 9 hours 26 minutes standby and I'm now at 68%.

Seems like this thing takes forever to charge. Do you all have any apps on yours for saving the power or is the Iphone supposed to be pretty self sufficient without it? I'm new to this game so I don't know what apps I need to be getting to make this a pleasant experience.

Make sure you're closing your apps fully when not using them.
