September 4, 201214 yr Everything would be fixed if UK had a T. Boone Pickens to finance the football program. Money is what we need to do all of the things that folks have mentioned earlier. Do we generate the revenues that LSU and Alabama do?

September 5, 201214 yr Well PP has depressed me with those videos. I don't think a big name coach is coming to UK. I think UK has to try to hire someone young and energetic to pump some life into the program. I'm not sure what Petrino's background was but someone like him without the character flaws. A better example might be the coach at Vandy, what a job that guy has done. No matter who the hire the lack of D1 football prospects produced by the state is a huge hurdle to jump over.
September 5, 201214 yr Agree with people who say not enough D1 talent in state to build SEC type ball team. To win Kentucky needs a coach who can get players who are SEC type players. Maybe get an established coach who can get some good players or maybe young coach who will get out and hustle for some good talent. Have nothing against Joker just don't think he is a good coach or that he can judge players talent.
