Single-game yardage mark broken

Featured Replies

Nelson County QB Dylan Beasley went 30-for-43 last night for 652 yards and 8 TDs, apparently breaking the old single-game yardage mark by one yard. Jesse Watts of Sheldon Clark held the record since 1991.

Congratulations, Dylan! :thumb:

Awesome. I bet that was fun to watch. Unless you're on the opposing team.

It's hard to believe the record was set 21 years ago. That was prior to offenses really opening up.

Consider some of the names that have played in Ky since then:

Brohm

Robinson

Redman

Couch

Whew! Bet he's icing his arm today.

The rest of his body, too, as Marion brought the house every single down, apparently.

Wonder how many yards were after the catch as a result of them bringing the house so much.

You sure that kid isnt kin to Dan Fouts?

A lot of it was catch-and-run stuff. One of his receivers had five catches for 227, four of them for TDs. He's quite fast — Khalil Bourn, who is related to Michael Bourn of MLB.

Who was Nelson Co. playing in this one??

Did the opponent let their secondary know the location of the game?

What was the final score?
