Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, TLC’s controversial reality show about a self-proclaimed “redneck” family and their Toddlers and Tiaras daughter, hit another ratings high on Wednesday night. The fourth episode of Honey Boo Boo pulled in just shy of 3 million viewers at 10 p.m., according to Nielsen overnight ratings, growing 30 percent from last week’s 2.3 million haul.

 

In the demo, Honey Boo Boo did even better. The half-hour series’ showing among adults 18-49 bested all other cable outings for the night — coverage of the Republican National Convention, included — to pull a 1.3 rating.:clap:

That is a bit misleading. It outdrew comparing network to network, but I would guess 15 times the amount of people watched Mitt than whatever show this is.

 

'From 10-(just after) 11PM, when the broadcasters were live, [Fox News Channel] averaged 7.70 million total viewers, including 2.07 million in the key adults 25-54 demo.' So overall, Fox News has more than twice the number of viewers that Honey Boo Boo did. However in that demographic, it and all the other networks individually did not have more viewers than Honey Boo Boo.

 

It's Not True That More People Watched Honey Boo Boo Than The Republican Convention

It's sad that Honey Boo Boo is news and that the fact checkers have to tackle it.

I fear for the future of this country.

I'd love to see the political demographics for the audience that watches Honey Boo Boo. I have a feeling that I wouldn't be surprised by the data.

As do I. I like to consider myself moderate and siding with different parties on different issues. I do not like the tone and rhetoric of the liberal side (and the democrats) which turns me against them. I don't agree with some of the "rightest" positions of the Republicans, and I frankly feel disenfranchised and abandoned by extremists on both sides.

 

I wonder if anyone else feels that way?

Boo Boo is better than Clint Eastwood talking to an empty chair. I think the chair was filled with Mitt and ole Ryan's combined foreign policy experience. Even Sarah Palin has more foreign policy experience:eek:
