Ashland played awful for 3 quarters on Friday against Fairview then pretty well against Lex. Who knows what team will show up against Russell. With Kentucky struggling this year and Ashland I dont know what to think. I will be there but will Ashland show up?

I was thinking the same thing about Russell. There is way to much talent on the floor to get this kind of inconsistency even with the injuries. On paper, Russell should win (IMO), but who knows which team will show up. I do think it should be a close one...I would love to see both teams play to their potential.

Rose Hill has proven they can run a quality tournament. From what I have seen from other games in this district the Stew is plenty big enough. Now back to the topic. A struggling team will beat another struggling team, and we will hear how both will be there at the end.

If Ashland-Boyd meet in the finals, would the sound financial decision be to move the championship game? Or for that matter should those two play in an elimination game, would it not make good financial sense for it to move? I'd say we could hold that game at "The Palace" in Raceland should the Ramblers not play on the same night in the 63rd.

I cannot believe Mr Orange Goggles picked the Tomcats by 10. I hope the Ramblers dont play Ashland this year. That could be a 20 point whipping if you compare scores.

There is no doubt that they can run a quality tournament, but I question you on the seating capacity part. The crowd for both the BC-Ashland and the BC-Fairview games were more than what RH's gym can hold, and these were only reg season games. Everyone knows that you will always have the band wagon fans show up for the post season, so I say move the tournament to a facility better suited to handle the crowds. With the parity in the district this season, it should be an exiciting tournament.
