OJ killed someone so that's fair but Kobe just because you don't like how arrogant he is? Plenty of nice stories about Kobe and things he has done off the court to help others.

 

There's a nice Kobe story from Colorado as well. Then there's the inability to get along with Shaq that probably cost the Lakers 3-4 titles. How about his refusal to play for the Hornets after they drafted him? Or the time in the playoffs he decided to not to shoot for most of the game against Phoenix?

 

Guy's a great player. I respect him on the court. He just doesn't seem like much of a person off of it.

Fair enough and he isn't the most likeable guy. I was more curious than anything. He was acquitted of any wrong doing for that little Colorado incident. Not defending it he still cheated on his wife.

He was not found innocent in Colorado. The case was dropped when the alleged victim refused to testify. He then quickly settled a civil suit with her out of court that included a public apology. That's a big difference than being found innocent.

 

As for the not shooting thing, do you really think he was doing that to try and win the game or to show that the Lakers had no shot to win without him scoring? This happened after Barkley got on him for shooting too much.

Obviously die hard Jordan and UNC fans. Do people owe the families on the Giving Trees at the local malls during Christmas season anything? Of course not, but yet people find it in their hearts to give to those less fortunate.
