This is outrageous. He feels he was cut from the varsity team so he said that. Why does he have to be wrong? I'm not even an MJ supporter really and I can't believe some of the stuff I'm hearing. So he's an ass clown personally that may have misunderstood what getting cut means as a 15 year old? Who cares? This writer is garbage all the way around.

This isn't the first article about MJ not helping the man. Surely MJ would have defended himself(or at less held some kind of irrational grudge) against SI by now.

The guys family and all of his closest friends haven't helped him recently either. Maybe MJ is like the guys ex wife and wanted him to get mental help but he didn't want it. People are drawing a lot of conclusions of MJ's character about a guy that nobody but one writer from SI is defending and helping.

I see a crazy competitor that hates losing and is motivated by failure. Even if the failure is being placed on a jv team. Also, Colin Cowherd brought up a great point. Is the only person this guy ever coached that is in any position to help him MJ? Doesn't there have to be other people that are at least somewhat successful that can get this guy a pair of shoes? Maybe there is more to the story than this ex coach's side of it.

MJ was not cut from his HS basketball team. That is 100% a lie.

 

He was cut from the Varsity squad. Cut, did not make the team, same thing imo.

 

Cut means, sent home. You are the first person I ever heard say that "cut" means moved down to another team.

 

A player can be cut in the NFL with the team knowing they probably can sign them right back to the practice squad. So if they sign them right back to the practice squad, does that mean he was not really cut? Its basically the same case here, he was cut from the Varsity squad and then asked to still stay on as a JV player though.

 

Before anyone decides to reply to this, know that I am just joking haha. I honestly have never consider being just on the JV team as being cut either. Jordan is the first person I have ever heard actually say they were cut when really they were just not on the Varsity but was on the JV still.
