August 4, 201214 yr Don't be surprised if Phillips or another Reds player gets one up around the head tomorrow or Sunday after that pitch by Chapman, would be shocked if nothing happenend. Hurdle won't let him get by with that, intentional or not.
August 4, 201214 yr Well my friend probably walked, can't speak for the other party if he's in fact there. My mistake, they weren't at the Saddle Club yet they were at the Reds game. Knowing my friend he was probably dumb enough to offer to buy Sheen the beer just so he could chug it with him.
August 4, 201214 yr Awesome game! Latos was great. He was a little wild in the first inning but in control after that, the 2 walk inning aside because I think one of those was on blue. As others have said that was great without any of the trio (JV, JB and BP) and Ludwick didn't even factor in. Let's go Reds!

August 4, 201214 yr Isn't that by the airport? No. If you've ever been to Beechwood it's right down the road on Dixie Highway.

I fully expect it, but if you're the Pirates do you want to get in a beanball war with a guy that can bring it as high as 106?
August 4, 201214 yr Yep. Blue was wrong, IMO. Glad he was wrong. I say he was safe. Foot hit the plate before the tag hit the shoulder IMO. MLB.com Gameday | reds.com: Gameday
August 4, 201214 yr Charlie Sheen and Martin Sheen were in a box on the club level behind 3rd base. The box had a number of soldiers in it as well. Martin and Charlie watched much of the game from row 1 of the box. When the jumbotron isolated on Charlie, the ovation he got from the crowd was similiar to what Pete gets. Much of the section I was in spent alot of the night with their cell phone cameras pointed up. Charlie might very well be a rock star from mars. Great game. There were fewer Pirate fans than I expected (I was anticipating a reprisal of the drunken hordes who invade PBS when the Steelers come to town). Who Dey and Let's Play Two.

August 4, 201214 yr I fully expect it, but if you're the Pirates do you want to get in a beanball war with a guy that can bring it as high as 106?The Pirates have starters and relievers that can bring it 95-98, if Phillips starts tommorow, he'll get it at head level,if not him, then Bruce. you just can't hit a team's star up around the head. Surprised no one even talking about this at all

The Pirate fan that caught Latos home run was priceless.
August 4, 201214 yr I missed that. What did he do with the ball? Looked like he was in the first row. Caught it with Reds fans screaming all around him and just flipped it over his head back into the stands.
