This is the type of sentence I never know what to do with. 1) I like the idea that UofL isn't giving up on what would be a big get. 2) He made his choice, leave him alone... everything about the recruiting process creeps me out.

Great point, but in college football their arent many pastures greener than USC and ND, guess Kiffin could give the NFL another shot, but he would probably take a pay cut!

Well, Tennessee lost to UK once in 26 years. Louisville has lost to them 4 out of the last 5 years. So I guess Louisville was never really a player as well.

Greener pastures than USC? Alabama maybe, but last time I checked they had a decent coach, but other than that what would be greener? Sneeky Pete put them in a quandry and they lost a couple years, but USC is the one team over the last decade that would have been just fine in the SEC. Don't even make me mention the "sweater squad".

I believe they will be PreSeason number 1 in many polls. That's pretty green to me.

UT was one the ledge when Kiffin got there. He just pushed them off. Dooley is keeping them from climbing back up the ledge.

Congrats to the kid. With his talents he needed to get out of the state of Kentucky to play college ball. Maybe Louisville will be back in the national picture but no time soon.

At what point in a team in the national picture? When the are a Top 25 team? If Strong sticks around, I don't think it will be too long before UofL is back in the Top 25 pretty consistently. UofL fans need to hope UT does well enough to keep Dooley around because I would not be surprised if Strong would not make the list of coaches they would consider.

Agreed on your overall point. Coach Strong said today his biggest challenge is the uncertainly of the BE and how it hampers recruiting. He said every recruit mentions it.

That's fair but the better teams in the league are going to be faced with this issue if you're fighting for top-tier recruits.

Which is an issue of their own doing. UC recruiting is unchanged if not on an upswing since the departures. Can't be both ways...
