July 27, 201214 yr Kid is 6'0 205 and ran a 4.46 at their camp. They offered. He accepted. Soon-to-be 8th grader Dylan Moses offered LSU Tigers scholarship - ESPN
July 27, 201214 yr This kid seems to be a freak athlete with those numbers in the 40, broad jump and verticle...
July 27, 201214 yr I agree with Steven A Smith wholeheartedly. This is disgusting. Kid is already thrown to the wolves.
July 27, 201214 yr Read an article tonight about how kids are getting offered earlier and earlier. Seems the NCAA passed a new rule a couple of years ago regarding written offers and it's back fired. The rule was supposed to stop this nonsense. Schools are shooting out verbal offers like water out of a squirt gun. It's crazy I tell ya.
July 27, 201214 yr Not surprised really, great size and speed that should only get better over the next 4 years, they won't have a problem finding a position for him and if they do at least their competition doesn't have a shot at him. A sport that generates millions of dollars a year for a lot of schools and people are some how surprised that this is happening.

February 27, 201313 yr Read an article tonight about how kids are getting offered earlier and earlier. Seems the NCAA passed a new rule a couple of years ago regarding written offers and it's back fired. The rule was supposed to stop this nonsense. Schools are shooting out verbal offers like water out of a squirt gun. It's crazy I tell ya. I don't recall any rule of that nature. I do, however, recall the college hoops coaches' association strongly encouraging their members to not do such things. It didn't go far either, apparently.
February 27, 201313 yr 6 foot, 205 pounds & ran a 4.46??? I'm not crazy about offering a kid this hung, but that is pretty impressive.
February 27, 201313 yr Now are we going to start a thread to debate whether these 8th graders should even participate in varsity sports so as to not risk injury?
February 27, 201313 yr Now are we going to start a thread to debate whether these 8th graders should even participate in varsity sports so as to not risk injury? More likely to get hurt playing down at their actual grade level than playing up.
